May 2009 - India and return home. We have been home for a little while now and have slowly been integrating ourselves back into society. We have caught up with a lot of you since being home, so we've decided not to write a dairy update for India, and keep something for ourselves. We had an amazing year and it has been great keeping in touch with you. See you at the pub sometime... India pictures

Check out the complete calendar of our route, with all the towns and hostels we have stayed at. This differs from the itinerary, which was drafted entirely before we hit the road.

We are David Worsley and Amy Edmunds, and we are spending May 2008 to May 2009 travelling the globe (or bits of it anyway)...

Starting with a two-week trek in Namibia, we then head to South America, New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia, Nepal and finally India. Our trip is one of those classic examples of a modest plan getting out of hand and becoming a major project. Dave was planning a trip to the shop one Sunday to get milk for tea, and now here we are with our Vietnamese visas, malaria tablets and Nepalese phrasebook.

The point of this site is primarily to let friends and family (hello mum!) know what we're up to and when, so you can plan your holiday out to see us in the exotic location of your choice. For anyone else who happens to end up here, firstly, you're probably lost. But if you feel like staying a while, please feel free to browse, pick up travel tips, give us travelling advice and contact us with comments and questions. Who knows, maybe your next trip to the Costcutter will turn into something unexpected!
